Terms
Last updated: 18 May 2026
Tēnā koe. This is the short version of the rules for using Tuit, a small, early-access household-admin app built in Aotearoa.
The deal
You get to use Tuit for free during early access. In return, please don't use it to do anything dodgy, no spamming, no illegal content, no trying to break the app for other households.
Your stuff is your stuff
You own everything you put into the app. We just hold onto it so the app works. See the privacy page for how it's handled.
Early access reality check
Tuit is early-stage. Things might break, features might appear and disappear, and the odd bug will find its way through. We'll do our best, but no warranties or guarantees. Use it because it's useful to you, not because we've promised enterprise-grade uptime. We're a one-person shop.
Calling it quits
You can stop using Tuit any time. Email pboulangernz@gmail.com and we'll delete your account. We can also pause an account if it's being used to cause trouble, but we'll talk to you first.
Limits of liability
Tuit isn't a substitute for proper medical, financial or legal advice. If something doesn't happen because the app didn't remind you, that's a bummer, but not something we can be on the hook for. Use the app to help you keep tabs, not as the last line of defence.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute that we can't sort over a cuppa goes to the courts of Aotearoa.
Changes
If we update these terms in any meaningful way, we'll bump the date at the top and let existing users know in the app.
